2019 CarPlay Activation
Hello,
I have a 2019 ECoupe
Since making an earlier thread about CarPlay not working - I have checked my data card to find out I don’t have 16U the actual CarPlay code installed. But I do have 15U the pre installation there. Does anyone have any experience with getting CarPlay installed on the 2019 e coupe? For reference it has the large two dual displays.

Yes I got mine activated. It is documented in this forum somewhere. I have a 68 plate with the widescreen audio 20. Mercedes were adamant it is not possible to do but I got in touch with a guy in switzerland to do it for me. I can give you his details if you PM me. He needed me to find someone with Monaco DTS diagnostic software and of course a multiplexer to plug the car in. He then connected via team viewer to the laptop from switzerland and did it for me. Took about 10 mins. Had it for over a year, no issues and I honestly wouldn't be abe to live without it.

Finally got it working!
So, this might be useful for anyone in the same boat as me. Finally managed to get CarPlay activated by Rjautomotive.net who is also rjautomotive1 on Instagram. As I was local I met him and it was a hassle free process, however he was saying they do offer to do it remotely. Really recommend their services, had absolutely no issues so far.
