Automatic Mirrors not Folding
I got a new E Cabriolet recently and I've found it a beautiful car except from it's harsh ride(it's on 20s). The issue I'm having is that the mirrors don't fold in automatically anymore. I've checked the vehicle settings and automatic folding mirrors is ticked. When I leave the car and lock it, the mirrors don't fold. I've followed other instructions I've found here of unticking it, locking the car, ticking it and then trying it again but it hasn't worked. I'll take it to the dealer if I don't find a solution but before then has anyone encountered this problem and found one?

Same with my car. Followed all instructions. It did work for a while but now no go. I figured it was a software update but wasn’t important enough to bring it in.
I’ll try the cycling recommendation and report back.

I actually, out of mere desperation, did the folding the mirrors exercise suggested above and it worked!

Coincidentally, my car was in for it's 2 year B service this week. When I got it back the mirrors didn't fold when the car was locked. I cycled them once and everything worked again. This is now the third time this has happened to my car.

I've had the same issue happen twice now and just wanted to confirm that this method works, thanks for your help. I went into the vehicle settings and changed it multiple times but in the end it was a simple solution
