Use Krytox lube. It’s expensive as hell but it works great!

2018 E400 Coupe

2018 E400c Ambient Lighting

I have a 2018 E400c - actually coming up on an anniversary. Yes, I am just days away from this fine MB having been in my dealers shop for 30 days! Pardon me while I manage my emotions. But seriously, my dealer needs help with the cars ambient lighting! First, identifying and ordering the correct part proved problematic. Next when parts were agreed to and supplied, my poor dealer was stopped cold - there were no instructions on how to make the repair. Imagine their surprise as they stood by with no idea how to face this challenge.

Has anyone found their servicing dealer to be totally unprepared for gremlins in the ambient lighting? Honestly, you would think I had brought them a KIA.

2019 E350

I have a cabriolet and my car has been in in 8 occasions since October for rattles and creates. It’s a 2019 and covered 20k miles. I assumed mine creaked because it’s a cabriolet and they are less stiff. They have damaged my car when repairing it. It’s a a new roof lining. The didn’t reconnect my rear heated window and they have left grease everywhere. I’ve given up on them trying to fix it. The dealer cause more damage than they repair. We have. GLC coupe which is nowhere near as bad. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll have another. I love the car but hate dealing with the dealership
