Question, have a E450c on the way and was wounded is it better to have the dealership or independent tinting shop add the window tint? Dealership wants $450 but that doesn't included the front clear uv protection. For my e350 I had a independent shop do it and they did a great job.

Depends on the quality of work of course. Without knowing where you are, I doubt anyone can respond with any accuracy.

Price also depends on the specific material used to tint the windows. My advice: avoid the cheap stuff, go with ceramic tints.
