Old and New E class cabriolets
At our German Cars & Coffee this weekend, I parked the E450 next to a couple of early '90s E 300 W124 models. Glad to see the longevity of those cars, and hope that my current driver will provide the same!

The older ones were limited production custom factory models. I think pricing back then was on par with the E400 now, not adjusting for inflation.

Found the following information on the 124 class cabriolets, and found it quite interesting:

The cabriolet of the 124 model series arrived in 1991 with a fabric soft top, the first with featuring one after a break of 20 years. The engineers made it of a 27-part linkage with 34 joints and it weight 43 kilograms. Compared to the coupe, they needed to redesign approximately 1,000 components.
