Question 2021 E450 Coupe, Sport+ mode?

Hey guys,

I am getting my e450 coupe soon and wanted to know do you guys get any pops or crackles in the exhaust during sport+ mode?
I personally like a good sounding exhaust but cannot afford the e53, you guys think it will be good to do a resonator delete and add in valvetronic mufflers?
This would be so I can still have that "comfort mode" and "sport mode" exhaust since I can open and close the valves.

No that is only available on the AMG models.

From what I've read, crackles and pops sound cool, but are not good for the engine, specifically the turbo. If you get a tune, some tuners will add that feature as an option. I could be wrong about the negative effects, but dumping excess fuel in the exhaust stream during deceleration does not sound good.

Be aware that loud exhausts are illegal in some states. Here in California the law limits exhaust systems to 95 decibels. Violations carry fines up to $1000 (https://www.californiacarlaws.com/exhaust-noise/) (https://www.californiacarlaws.com/exhaust-noise/)..
