2019 E450 Steering Wheel Swap w/ 2021+ E450
Hi,
I don't know how folks feel about it, but I love the new steering wheel shape and look (in beige) in the 2021 versions of the E-Coupe. Does anyone know if I can have my 2019 E450 steering wheel swapped with the latest version? Would the best bet be to order this and have the work completed by an MB dealership?

rule of thumb with mercedes wheels
you can upgrade up not down.
meaning you can install a newer wheel on a 2019 but cant install a previous generation.
now the dealer will tell you they cannot perform the install because they dont have the capabilities of retrofitting wheels and dont know the programing that goes behind it. you will need to purchase the wheel from a steering wheel company that has the modules and ability to program the wheels. the dealer can install for you but in my opinion thats a waste of money as you can do it yourself
companies id recommend. Carismo or Rucarbon
both of these companies can build you a wheel just how you want, airbag included along with whatever module you need for the car to accept the layout of the new buttons.
