Can you tilt the seatback forward?

Looked at a C class coupe today. Short 5'2" wife has to raise the seat to the highest position to see out over the dash to drive. She couldn't then tilt the seatback forward because the headrest hits the roof.

Does the E Class have the same design flaw?

Thanks for any comments.

Have you tried lowering the headrest?

Do you own a later model E Coupe?

If you do, could you raise the front seat up max and tell me if you can tilt the seatback forward and back without it hitting the roof?

Thnaks.

I just confirmed on my E coupe that with the seat bottom at the highest position, yes the headrest rubs against the top of the car as you move the seat back forward.

Not in the 2019 E53 Coupe. With the seat bottom fully up and the the headrest in the lowest position, it does not hit the headliner.

CORRECTION. At the furtherest forward seat position and the seat bottom up as high as it will go and with the seat back fully forward, the headrest does touch the headliner. The first time I tried I was in the seat. Apparently, the seat wasn’t all the way forward. I was able to do a better test from outside the car. I don’t know if anyone could drive in that position.

Thanks very much.
Sounds like the E Coupe might work.
Now - just have to find one to drive within 2-300 miles.

Thanks again.

I have a convertible. Headroom isn’t a problem.
