Sensor issue

Hi all,

I'm having a problem with the parking sensors. Very frequently (multiple times per journey) at slow speed the sensors will sound and a full red circle around the car will appear on the screen. This happens when there is nothing anywhere near the car. The sensors are then turned off for a period of time. So you can imagine when I try and park its very frustrating. I've cleaned all the sensors multiple times but it continues to occur.
Any thoughts please?

I'm having a similar problem. When I'm stopped, all of a sudden the sensors will start going off for about 5 seconds then stop. I have a service due soon so I will ask the dealer to check them out. I'll let you know what is found.

Holy ish this has started on my e coupe . It’s so freaking frustrating. Mine always sound when I’m about complete braking the passenger front parking sensor sounds off and is either red or orange even when there’s nothing surrounding the vehicle

I'm having this problem with my brand new EQE SUV too. It's always the front driver's sensor so I'm pretty sure it's just Mercedes' quality control again. I doesn't affect driveability and it goes away after a few seconds but it's yet another annoyance from my $100K car. Maybe I'll try and have a dealer address the issue but at this point I think I'd rather just be done with this cheap brand and move on to something built to a higher standard, like a Korean or Japanese car.

2019 S63 4Matic+, 2018 E400 Cabrio, wardens car.
On my 2018 E400 Cabrio this was determined to be a faulty sensor. I picked up a new one for around 100 bucks and swapped it out. Works fine now. Need a scan tool to determine which sensor is bad though. I picked one up on Amazon for around 200 bucks that is MB specific.

Well had the E in for its first "A" service and spoke to my advisor (who is also the asst. service manager) about sensor issues. He said that they have found the sensors to be very delicate on these newer models and that it's not necessarily a reflection of a malfunction. Oh well...it doesn't happen that often so it's something I can live with.

I guess they meant it is sensitive?
