E class cab
E220d cabriolet tail light fault
Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone is able to offer some guidance at all please?
My girlfriend owns a 2018 E220d cab, and the inner (boot lid) left tail light/reverse light does not function at all. I thought that it may be an issue with the light so I ordered a replacement part (A2389060601), though after installation, there is still no power. Are the boot lid lights individually fused? Or is there anything else I could look into? It is only this lamp, the other three are all functioning correctly.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Dan

do you have a volt meter? if so, have someone put it in reverse while you are checking the voltage on connector the light plugs into and see what it does. That will at least tell you if the wiring to the light works. You can trace it from there-> fuse box (you'll probably need a wiring diagram as you might need bit more detail then what is on the fuse box cover - unfortunately I don't know which fuse box but probably somewhere in the trunk).
