One MB dealer wanted $1150. Another $850.
Independent wants $850 as well.
Very expensive.
I had the required B service done on my 2018 E400 in October of 2022 at Mercedes-Benz of South Bay in Torrance, California (the car had only 13,057 miles on the clock, but the B service is required at 5 years or 50,000 miles). Basic cost was $432.00, but with parts and so forth the final bill was $857.01.

Here is what the independent shop is doing compared to the MB dealer as per the recommendation service. Both the same price but the independent is doing more including tire rotation. You had spark plugs replaced. Neither the independent nor MB is doing that.

That's a great quote for all that work. There is a good independent in my area, but the dealership has always taken good care of me. Still I may ask them about it when the time comes.
