Searching after a loss
Hello all, I just lost my e350 sedan due to a tractortrailer sandwich, and have just begun my search for a 21 e450 coupe. Absolutely love the look of that car. Was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were regarding that car, ie issues, love about it, look out for anything etc...
THANK YOU

Just picked up a CPO 2022 E450. Love the car, Accelerates like a rocket.
I’m currently having an issue assigning a home region for the over the air updates, but fortunately my warranty is good until November 2028.
Gas mileage is outstanding considering the power and weight of the car. I have the 48v mild hybrid system, not sure if that was offered in the 2021 model. There is some grumbling on the web about the lithium battery in this system “bricking” the car.
. . . but as I mentioned before I’ve got the security of a warranty for the next few years.
EDIT: The issue assigning a home region was resolved, a fairly straightforward solution. As for the mild hybrid system, I was playing with it and it seems like a neat piece of technology. My E450 is easily getting over 30 MPG on the freeway.

My 22 E450 Coupe has been outstanding. One minor issue with the Heads Up Display, quickly rectified by the dealer. I got well over 32 MPG on a one week trip I took. Which was amazing, again for the size, weight and power of the car. I love the car.

My 2022 has been amazing. Couple things to consider:
i go the AMG package because I wanted to add the round AMG exhaust tips (I purchased them and put them on at home)
I wanted the full digital gauges (not the analog spedo and tac),
I later bought a spare for the peace of mind. and will probably go with non-run flats when my tires wear out.
For the trunk I put a weathertec liner in.
The interior at night is beautiful too...
