Condensation in headlight
So, this is how my headlights looked like after a wash with warm water. Is this a common issue? Is it fixable or am I going to need new headlights?

This is a common issue. Mercedes has a "fix" for certain models that comprises a bag of silica gel to be placed in the bottom of the head lamp once the driver module (with the external heat sink fins) has been removed.
and also replacing a membrane tape that should allow moisture to get out but not in. Removing the head lamps to apply the kit is cumbersome. Some sources on the internet claims that there is a de-moisturing process that starts
after a certain time. I have not experienced that this procedure, if it exists, work.
Obviously, the non-ventillated head lamp design was not a success. I have the same problem and plan to install silica gel bags myself.

Easy fix. Don't wash with warm water.
