Well i just had an adventure that i was not able to educate myself previously to before i started. I have 2014 E350 cabriolet convertible. It is equip with ECO mode. That means the hole to access the torque converter drain plug is covered by an auxiliary fluid pump. There is a rectangular access port on one side of the casing but when you get the drain plug to it, it looks impossible to get any kind of hex key to it other than a ball head which will round off. I then remove the Aux pump to see if there is an access hole there. There is but it is very small and again there is no way to get the drain plug out. There is only one drain plug for the torque converter. so after a prayer i drilled a 5/16 hole toward the front of the access hole and my long hex key could then get to it. So is there something i was missing here? i don't see any other option other than power fluid flush.
