Panoramic Roof Wind Noise

This past weekend, I was searching the Internet (including MBWorld) for a solution, and one of the YouTubers said he adjusted a pano roof bracket on what appeared to be a W204 C sedan. Ironically, rather than an air leak, the noise was caused by the slight elevation of the leading edge of the pano roof panel, as I never felt any air infiltration when I reached over to the passenger side roof while driving. Although my E450 is a completely different car and the roof is configured differently, I also noticed that the leading edge of the right side of my pano glass was also very slightly raised from the roof of the car. BTW, because my wife's E300 sedan has a true two-segment panoramic roof, the mounting system is also completely different.
That said, I opened the panoramic roof fully and saw a Y-shaped bracket with two T-25 screws that connected the roof to the track (left side pictured below). I compared the right-side bracket with the left side and saw an approximately 1/8" gap between the top of the screw heads and the opening, where the left side screws were flush with the opening, as shown in the photo. The leading edge of the panel was also flush with the left side of the roof. I then loosened the two screws, pushed the glass panel down to close the gap, retightened the screws, and went for a five-mile, 60 mph test drive. Problem solved - no unusual wind noise, and it was an easy fix, so I hope my experience helps any other E coupe owners who are experiencing the same issue.
