m112 engine and transmission swap
I"m swapping a m112 6cylinder engine with 722.6 transmission into 1975 240d. I need help with electrnoic side of the swap, Can i bypass mercedes EIS immboilzer system? Do i have to swap the whole chassis and engien harness into w115 to make it work?

currently driving 1983 300SD W126, my static display is a 1999 W210 E320 4Matic wagon,
Wow! you are ambitious, what have you learned. I have a 1999 V6 and would love to put it into an older car because I believe my EIS (or some other electronic subsystem has failed) however without the delighful fuel injection system and other magic that V6 would not be as wonderful as it was in my wagon. I see many late 99 on benz models at the local yard and wish I could use the motors and transmissions in the older cars. You are embarking on a quest. Respectfully best wishes
