more than the car is worth... although my car has low miles.... the reverse band broke... so i had no reverse..... i ended up paying (i think) 1300-1400 to rebuild the whole transmission.
also... one of the cars cylinders was losing compression... so i ended up having the engine rebuilt....
i want to say i spent somewhere around 2 grand for that...
so in just the engine and trans.... your looking at 3500...
i do know mb factory rebuilds engines.... and give a 4 year 50k mile warranty... but your looking at spending alot more....
my indep mb shop told me he would warranty the car for life.... hahah... whatever that means...
