"European" Bumpers for '79 240D
I own a great looking '79 240D. Because the car was sold in the US, it has the ugly extended 'bumper-car' 5-MPH chrome bumpers as standard equipment. I would like to replace these with the style used in Europe - the ones that do not extend out and appear more flush with the front/rear of the body. Does anyone have any experiences in making this conversion?
