how to order smart key
Hi, I own E200, W210, the smart key suddenly dead, unable to look/unlock/start the car. only the small red indicator light on the device does come on when key is pressed and nothing happen. The technician said the key is faulty and need replacement from MB manufacturer. However, the local sole agent refused to order the new key for me. They said they don't support parallel importer car since I bought it from local parallel importer who importered the car from Euro country. Unfortunately the importer is out of business now and no way I can get a new smart key for my car.
Is there a way that I can order a new smart key from other dealer in other country for my car without going through the local (singapore) MB sole agent?

the only mail order vendor I know of is OEMPARTSDIRECT dot com....but!.....
bear in mind that US and Euro keys operate at different frequencies. so if you
try this source, be sure you can get their assurances that the key will work with
