shifting problems

my car has been acting weird. first it was acting like it had a lack of power. now its to the point it wont get over 30. and when i let off quick it dies on me. it will rev high and everything in neutral but when im driving it after 3rd gear it wont go over 2000 rpm. i thought it might be not enough fuel so i went to prime it. and the primer had like a suction on it like the injector pump is pulling harder then my lift pump does anyone have an idea?

Yep. If you have a primer pump with a white knob, and it pops back down when you pull up on it with engine off, you have a fungus restricted fuel tank screen.
