Question Vent Blower Fan not working (just bought a W123 and love it)

Hey guys, this is my first post.
I so need your help and believe me, I read many threads regarding this issue but nothings seems to help.
When I bought the car the fan wasn't working at all.
At first I noticed the fan would only start after hitting it. So I removed, clean and sprayed electric cleaner. Tested directly with 12v - worked ok. Installed in the car and worked only for 2 days.
Today the vent seems to be dead.
1. I tried switching the AC/Vent console with a spare one - nothing's changed. (I have 2 and tested both during the 2 days the fan was ok)
2. Removed the vent and connected directly to 12v - it spins like crazy
3. Checked the fuse panel - fuses are all ok - 12v present.
4. Checked for power at the cable that goes in the fan while the switch in vent console was on - no power at all.

Any ideas?
Thank you!
