1987 AMG 3.2 (5spd manuel), 1981 240D (4spd manuel)

i was wondering on putting "purple power" syn oil in my diesel but on the bottle it satys "for all gasoline engines" has anyone done this and would it hurt the internals or not the the right detergents

I run mobile 1 10w30 in my 300d and I know a ton of people who run synthatic in there diesel cars and trucks and no ones had any problems.

I don't know much about this but you have to be careful with the oil you use, my dad has a 240D sitting at the shop with an engine that doesn't work because one of his employees put the wrong type of oil in it
