How many engine shocks? 78 300D
I have located the passenger side shock, but I don't know where the other is located. It would make sense it would be on the other side, but there is no mounting areas to mount one, so I'm thinking it only has one shock. Am I correct?

I am no expert but I believe I have read some only have one.
Go to some internet part seller sites for your year and model and look up the Engine Shock. Some sites will tell you how many you need are per vehicle.
The other indcation is if there is no place for the shock on the drivers side.
