Once you reach 160 degrees...
WVO will atomize easily and burn better. My question is how much pure Diesel fuel should I burn before I shut the engine off to clean out the IP and engine from the WVO and have pure Diesel in the engine so it doesn't sit durring the day while I'm at work with WVO in it, and crank fine, and without possibly deteriating anything also.. Would half a gallon (15 miles or so) do it?? I will pinpoint it eventually but I like to have other opinions and it also helps with trial and error time....

Every WVO setup has variation.
In Michigan winter:
My rule of thumb is two - three minutes at 1300 - 1500 RPM to flush the system.

If you switch tanks two - three minutes before arriving at destination, the system has a "wide" safe margin, even in sub zero weather to flush before shutdown.
What you are justifiably concerned about is the cloud point of the fuel in the injection pump and filters.

Actually the concern is glycerin. It makes up more than 1/4 of vegetable oil which means that 1/4 of the fluid running through your system is not burning. Causing wear and extreme carbon buildup around the pistons and valves.
