1985 Mercedes Benz 300TD
Parts and painting suggestions for 1977 300D?
Proud, new owner of a 1985 300TD (virgin MB owner!) and very happy about it! Would like to know if anyone can share their favorite and trusted parts resources (websites, etc.)? Looking to obtain some interior parts and hubcaps. Also, any suggestions for a paint/auto body shop in Los Angeles area? Would like to repaint it eventually. Thanks!

Gas mileage
Maybe interesting :
Replace the injectors with Parts from the w124-diesels... And adjust them with a higher pressure rate (opening pressure)
Secondly try to find a rear end Differential from the Turbos.. Its much longer and fit (watch the odo!!) because you have highways and not so twitchy ways ...
Thirdly watch the valves and maybe if you want to make a longer turn.. Take a Full load of new veggieoil and drive (400mls) and then replace all dieselfilters and Check the valves...
If you have questions...ASK...
My Diesel runns half a million on veggie... Now he is millionaire and still runns ...
