Got overheated popped the hood and heard hissing from this hose shown in red. I think it may be my heater hose, although I never use the heater maybe it dumped water out of a crack behind the hose next to the hose clamp. Having problems finding a hose or part number, anyone have info? Or maybe I can cut at the hose clamp and reclamp the shorter hose? One of the hoses connected to the T is a unit with a heart on it, what the heck.

that thing looks like fuel filter w/regulator built into head

but MBs was modified by someone and changed with that biofuel logo.

cannot tell on the hose thing need further back pic to know where it is underhood.
If it goes into firewall then it is heater hose.

Heres the hose I just took out, it has a crack on the clamp portion that goes into the engine. Oddball hose shape and also engine side larger than the part that hooks to the T.
