Replaced Engine Mounts- Still having bad vibrations
Hello,
We replaced my son's engine mounts on his 1981 300D, but there is still a lot of vibration and noise while driving. The engine seems to be running correctly. Would the transmission mount be able to cause that much of an issue? What is a test or trick to figure out what it is? I appreciate the advice.

I just did my engine+trans mount as well 2 weeks ago. I felt the improvement was substantial one the first drive, but it faded after a while. It could be you've adjusted to the new normal of the car? My start/stop would literally jolt my whole care, now it's quite smooth, so I can definitely see an improvement there.
