Bilstein or KYB shocks???
I've been looking into getting some performance shocks for my 124 along w/ some vogtland lowering springs. I also noticed that bilsteins are the shocks of choice on this forum but I have always had success w/ KYB shocks on other vehicles I own. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks again for the warm welcome. I'll have pictures up once mid term exams are over.

They actually do. If you go to www.kyb.com they actually have a listing. They utilize their GR-2 shocks up front and the Gas-a-just shocks in the rear.
Here you go fellas:

Hmmm...KYB or no KYB, I would still go with Bilstein since it's the best shocks for our cars or else we all wouldn't be using it.
I just finally noticed that you're getting Vogtland springs as well. What made you decide you wanted them?
I got those installed on my car more than a month ago and I love them.

I noticed a better stance in vogtlands than in eibachs. Plus eibachs are way more expensive than vogtlands and even harder to get. Anyone else w/ info on KYBs?

I went with Koni adjustables all around as well. I am very happy with them.

I remember awhile back somebody had KYB's & they ended up switching to Bilsteins. I'd rather go the safe route and go with something tried and proven. Bilstein sports or Koni's . Koni's are a bit pricier.

Thanks for the input CaliE320. I'm beginning to lean towards Bilsteins now because although KYB produces a very good quality shock, it is more built for racing and rigid handling. Our 124s aren't meant to compete in autocrosses or things of that nature and since so many people seem to be satisfied with bilsteins I think I'll go with them.
