W124 Manual Tranny Anyone?
Does anyone have, or know anyone who has, a 300E, 260E or 300D with a manual transmission? They were made for the US for the model years 1985 through 1989, I believe.

Walt Anderson of MBCA HQ has/had a sweet black/palomino manual 94' E320 ....many miles though and many track events. Hardly ever see them in manuals like that. Good luck finding a good one...I wish my W124 had a manual !!

1986 and 1988 IIRC. I've seen some for sale (eBay), one in New Jersey and 2 in Arizona. There was also one in the Santa Cruz, CA area that could be had for the right price, but that was about a year ago. All of these that I have seen have had >200k miles.
If you're up to it, you could always get a 300e and swap in a manual from a w124, w201, an early w202, or an early r129.
