hey YNVDIZW124

I want to redo my headliner, what tools would I need? a panel popper and some other basic tools?

I don;t mind not having it in the car, I am simply going to put new material over the exisiting material most likely.

I ahve access to a snap on truck to buy the tolls I may need if necessary, but I'd hate to buy extra tools I would rearely use. I have taken headliners out in other cars, but the ebnzo to me seems a bit more difficult than a regular old car.

Well you guys decide on where & when you want to meet. Like I said it's going to be really hard to accomodate for everybody's schedule & location. Let's get it together & get the ball rolling on this already just set a location, date & time. Hopefully everybody can make it, if not there's always next time and we'll have our web-site up soon to keep everybody informed of what's going on......If not next Sat then when & where? You guys let me know. Would a Friday night be better for everybody maybe?

* On a side note, if anybody has some stuff laying around that other members might be interested in picking up , this would be a good time to bring them. I have a set of new clear corners, new stock W124 rear muffler, good condition non euro headlights(86-93), very nice stock MB steering wheel & airbag with new custom grey/black leather wheelskin. Let me know if anybody is interested in any of these & I'll bring them.Sorry the rims & tires have been sold....

Thanks again

~Cali

I owuld love to attent themeet , but I will most likely be out of town on the 21st for a family thing....

But get this organized so that others of you can meet.

A few years back I used to hold Barbeques at my dads house for mb people, we had some good turnouts. Even steve - aka MbenzNL came by and did some command installs for some people...

I've been hitting up Steve to do a command install in my W124 but he doesn't seem interested. Yeah, we need to get it organized soon.

ok you see on the map where the numbers 6 and 9 are? inbetween them is near where I live. I live in Hollywood off the sunset strip. or if you want to put it easier, you know where beverly hills is? I live about 15 minutes tops from there in bad traffic. 5 mins in no traffic.

I drive down to temmecula a lot and also up to castaic area alot during the summer, so I don't mind a little drive. If the majority of the people are not in my area, then it would only make sense for us to meet somewhere in the vicinity of where the majority of the people live because that makes it easier for the majority of the people who are to attend.

You could retrofit an ML MCS system in your w124 I would think. they can be had for pretty decent prices.
