Hey!!! I made it home!!! Thanks to alll of you for the meet today!!! Im still thinking about those rotors and calipers! Anyways all you guys had nice rides and if anyone needs my help just send me an e-mail or If on a weekend your by long beach (signal hill) call me and i'll help you out. Im going to try if i can find mb tex vynil so i can help you redo where the vynil is coming off on the side pillars.

it was a great time. it was nice to see a 500e, 2 ce's and a bunch of e's from different years.

btw per the meet i did what we discussed and have confirmation of the items we discussed in hand. should be up by the end of the week.

anyhow it was a pleasure meeting chris, alon (sp), tony and matt. I am super BAD with names i am sorry i forgot your name. as we get older the memory is 1st to go. btw i have always sucked at names (alon good idea on the name tags).

Its all good. if we do another outdoor one, we should bring a tent and a misting thingy to keep things cool. the only problem is the heat in the cars after being beaten on by the sun for a few hours....

funny u should say that. when i got to the meet my car was runnnnning sooooo hot. it was pegged at 120c when i turned it back on for show and tell with the stereo.

my car was running at 82C with ac on. maybe that was because i wasn't going that fast. only around 60 mph. for a while on the 10 it was stop and go for a while. hopefully i can get there on time next time so i can be there in time for the show and tell.

im sad i diddnt make it i think the E500 has a messed up fuel pump. it was running terrible this weekend!! i hope to bring her out to the next one!!

the meet worked out pretty well for the first time, great to see everybodys 124 no matter stock or modded, it was all good.

i also remembered on the way back that i wanted to have somebody take out my rear speakers for me....but hopefully ill just remember at the next meet

hey hey guys...I'd just like to say this first meet was in my opinion an success. I didn't expect so many people to come out especially with a few with some nice W124's. It was a pleasure to finally meet everyone behind the screen. The only down side was the heat! I couldn't believe how hot it was and the day before I was in the heat in Fontana!!! with no shade! Anyhows, I like the ideas people mentioned about the future meets, especially the BBQ's and perhaps meeting at a restaurant. We could do what others did in the past and meet at the Rosebowl, semi the same distance and then we can go eat at Fuddruckers afterwards. A good tradition! All in all, it was nice seeing everyone and their cars, especially Ramil's 500E, Alons, Erics and Matts and all of you other guys of course.

LnkPrkSoldier, sorry I forgot to let you drive in my car. haha you should of reminded me.

Nice meeting you today pare! Even though I didn't go to the W124 meet I still had a chance to see this guy's awesome beast of a car later during the day! I hope your temporary fix worked and you got home!

Looks like the meet turn out was pretty good.. Sorry I couldn't make it, Sunday's are hard for me. But hopefully I'll get to catch up to you guys at the next one.

LOL truthfully I dont know jackt about wheels. hahaha so I dont even know where to start. And i know what you mean about finding the right ones to be a pain, i've seen all of your posts in the classifieds looking for a set too. Haven't really decided on anything yet, maybe the replica amg monoblock?
