Okay, I spoke to Ben earlier and he has asked me to scout the park and pick the best place to meet.

This meet will be on SUN, 5-22-05 at 12 pm , IF there is a problem with the time and ONLY the time, we can change it to a more convenient time for ALL, not just one guy. If you can make it..great! If you can't, well you can try and make it to the next meet and/or keep up to date through the website.

So, with that said... if you can make it please post your name and if 12 pm is good for you...a simple YES or NO and give a BRIEF reason why,if answer is NO. Please keep in mind that joining/starting this club is going to take some comittment on each and every members part. That first commitment would be to make every effort possible to be at this meet at the time posted. Also, the meet will probably run a couple of hours...so keep that in mind when deciding if 12 pm is too early for you. I hope to see everyone, that's shown interest in this club, there.

Well skip that church and come down to the church of W124! Don't worry there will be preaching here too!! We speak the bible of the car gods! Some people talk to god but I talk to my car. So some one bring their owners manual and we'll have a spiritual time at the meet! LOL J/K but if you feel you reallllly gotto go to church then we'll still be ther by 3:00pm oh yeah and who's gonna bring what? or are we just gonna go and look at cars? Barbe-Q anyone?

nope, no golfers here. ( well for me ) but i do have a golf club. i think its like a wedger or a chipper. whatever they are called. should i bring some towels and cleaners too? maybe my buffer will arrive at my house by then. we can do the work on my car but seriously... what should i bring other than the car? food? car products? a nice lawn chair?? a soccer ball/football/volleyball/foosball? i see another car a few blocks down from me which likes like the exact same , i haven't gotten around to talking to him yet.. can't wait to see you all there!

I have a little request for when we get to the meet.

Perhaps can we park in every other parking space. That way I can take pictures of everyones car with more room/space and what not. Also, depending on the spots, reverse in parking would be nice too! Thanks!

tbd. that is both star wars opening weekend and the scuba show in long beach. on top of that i am leaving for mexico today to have an estimate on the paint. which means i could be taking it down for paint that weekend. so i will stay on the tbd list.

No, Only like 2 people chimed in. its not worth it for me if only a couple ofpeople want them, but if say 10 people want them it is much better. I posted a reply in that thread, and nobody replied.

I asked several times for a list of people and what model they want and nobody replied.

I wouldn;t be able to do it at the meet, as it would have to be paid for and ordered and then shipped. I can't find out what the pricing will be until I have a number. the more people the better.

Are you the one driving the car now? or does your dad drive it more?

You know when you think things wont work out in your favor, sometimes they do.

You should tell your dad that the w124 is still one of the safest cars on the road, maybe that will sway him.

actually i drive it more. he drives his chevy venture at the moment so he can move some things between offices. and he is going to get his own car soon ( bmw 7 series ... he gets that and i don't even get anything ) well he knows its safe, thats why he lets me drive it. one day....

Those where my qustions in my last post so I would think some one close to the park could go and see where is the best place to meet and anyone could bring whatever they want to eat or do. I can help do installs or whatever you need.
