Has anyone tried those Brembo or Magnum cross drilled brakes you see for aucton on Ebay? I'm tempted to get the Brembo ones.

Don't. Those are just OEM Brembo brake rotors with holes drilled into them with a press - the rotor typically cracks around the holes after a little while. REAL cross drilled rotors have the holes cast into them.

Thanks Chris. Well, if they are cross drilled after being purchased as OEM rotors, where can I get the Brembo OEM rotors or better yet a reputable cross/stotted rotor for W124s?

I put these on my 91 300E. Zimmerman cross drilled and chamfered, made in Germany. I should have put on ceramic pads.....my bad, lots of dust on the 18's. And it will make a difference in braking, less fade, less warpage, and lets the pads outgas under extreme braking (which stops better than my buds C5 corvette).
