ok, i am looking for a cop/radar detector for my brothers s-10. i didn't know where else to ask about this so im sorry about this being off topic. he is looking to be able to speed without getting caught on the freeway. ive been looking at the valentine and i don't know what to get. is there a certain type i should look for specifically in california??? price barrier is about 250 including shipping and everything. ideas???

Valentine One is the best hands down. Be prepared to drop 300-400 though.

Look intot he Bel RX65 its a very good detector. The V1 is also very good.

I would have no trouble with either. be prepared thought o drop a few bills on either one.

The bel is nice that it talks to you, and lets you know if there are emergency vehicles, amber alerts, and all kinds of stuff.
