15's look tiny. go for 16" with 205/55/16 rubber

or 17" with either 215/45/17 rubber or 225/45/17 rubber.

16" go with 16x7.5 with an offset of 35

17" go with 17x7.5 with an offset of either 37 or 35.

18" can be done, but since your car looks pretty much slammed, you will most likely have lots of rubbing issues.

Your car definitely looks slam. What suspension are you running? I would definitely stay away from the 15" size....why go with stock size?

I'd either go with 17's but personally I'd go with 18's but that's just me.

Attention: I hit post count 1,000 with this post.

I hope I didn't mislead anyone, maybe I should have mentioned that the photo is indeed photoshoped. The car and rims are real and on my car.

The drop is fake. I was just looking to see if my 15" look to small even after dropping it. The drop I'm planning will be similar to the setup ChrisDPham has... votland springs, #1 pads all around, and speedybenz camber arms.

My intensions were not to deceive anyone, just wanted comments on my wheel size. I apologize if this offended anyone.

Anyway, I'm debating on whether or not to get 17" wheels. If the car looks O.K. after dropping it, I might just stick with my 15" wheels. My dad has a friend who gives him 14" & 15" tires for $5 each. He owns a tire shop and every now and then he gets very good tires as trade-in. The other sizes are not commonly used as trade-in (or they're worn out so badly, especially on the inside because of bad camber). So for the past 4 1/2 years I've only spent $40 on 8 tires. If I upgrade to 17" then I'll be spending over $100 per tire.

Again I apologize for any misunderstanding.

there are more things to consider than just tire diameter..theres width and how much tread will be left.. will it be an all season tire...?

I think you over exagerated your drop. Since you want the same set up as me. You won't have that same low drop. I'm running stock 15" wheels with 205/60 series tires and mine is no where near that drop you photoshopped.

Then again...why keep stock size tires? Go big and go 17's and if you can 18's.

again if you let these guys talk you into changing wheels to a larger size.
i would be interested in buying your wheels.
i have a 94 e320 coupe sportline that 15" wheels would look great on cause the sportline option already took care of the lowering and the quicker ration sportline steering is noticeable from non sportline cars

Actually only the drop is photoshopped, but everything else is real and on my car. (I should have mentioned it in the original post)

Whatever tire/rim size I go with, it'll be for "all seasons". I live in Hawaii, so we only have 1 season...summer. If I go with 17", I'll take ashman's advice on the tires.

This is the size I'm going to go with if (or when) I get the 17" wheels

Thanks for the offer to buy hal, but even if I go with a larger size wheel, I might hold on to these wheels as spares.

There's really only 1 reason I want to stick with the 15". I get my tires ALMOST new for $5 each.

Yeah, looking back at the pic, I should have been more realistic. Hmmm, you mentioned you car are still on the original 15" wheels. I wonder what you car would look like with my wheels/tire combo...

Yes you're correct...I should have mentioned it in my orginal post. I posted a follow up. Sorry if you were offended.

Since you're going for the similiar set up as mine. Your car will probably be going to look like mine with the stock wheels and tires.
