Exclamation Interrested in a 300E

Hello, I am interrested in a Mercedes-Benz 300E, but I have a few questions about it. (1) What is the gas mileage like on this car? I heard that it can use regular gas instead of the normal premium that most of the newer Benz's use. (2) DOes this car tend to have any particular problems? If so, what are these problems? (3) How long can I expect this car to last? (4) How much are parts for this type of car?

Thank you for your time.

I may not truly be correct because I'm kind of a newbie, but I think the MPG is 18 for city and 23 for Highway. These cars will use regular gas, but I don't truly know if it will hurt the car any. Some of the problems you might experience with this car is, lot's of attention, too much worrying about your baby, and a feeling that you are the greatest on the road. If you take care of your car it will take care of you and you can expected the car to last for many many years, unless the previous owner abused the car daily. Parts = very expensive. Good Luck.

Parts are very expensive? Hmm, how do parts compare to the 190E (cost wisee)? I hear that 190E parts are not terribly bad cost wise.

lots of cars
Talking

18mpg? I get around 23 freeway and 20 street running on premium only. Also i noticed that at some gas stations my gas last longer! i only use REAL 76 not the united oil crap.

If you want to buy a 300e i think you should find a good mechanic first with good rates because it's going to get expensive if you get a beat up 300e.

Also change your oil every 3000 miles and Do Not Use Synthetic or Platinum Spark plugs if your car is from 86-93.
