O2 Sensor Location??

Does anyone know where the O2 sensor would be on a 260E? I followed the exhaust manifold down to the cat and found nothing. I figure it was never changed at the recommended 60K intervals so I'm going to replace it now. I'm also looking to get a little better gas milage.

you're close already. you're on the right track.

go underneath the front passenger side. look under the shifter.

or take out the whole carpert of the front passenger side. close to the tranny wall are some wires. follow that.

i think i can find pics for you. i'll post back.

Thank's rammbs. Holy crap, the location is pretty far back. You usually find it directly on the exhaust manifold in most other vehicles.
