ok so going through all those cars WHAT CAR ISNT unreliable? crap just about every german luxury car out there was on that unreliable list. i noticed no jap cars were on that list. hmm maybe mercedes should just rebadge all the chrysler products like the japs do with lexus, infinity and acura

I don't completely believe in the whole reliable/unreliable badges some vehicles are burdened with. I'll admit there are vehicles out there that are just complete crap but in the end its mostly how you care for your ride that dictates it' reliability.

well i must say these new e500's have a crap load of electronic toys. i rode with GGirl in her e500 and was amazed at all the bells and whisltes they cram in. one can only expect to have problems with that many toys.

Well you know what I have a 03 Honda Accord and driving over 90mph in that thing i dont feel safe at all, but in my 95 E320 i have gone over 130mph without any fear at all. To me its more reliable when it comes to safety.
Ya like Eric said, how come now jap cars where on the list, Lexus is Luxury with the ****en overpriced tags they have. How about Infinity? I never believe reports like this, people are bought too easy nowadays.
Eric - Ya with too many things the computers do, there will always be problem. Look at the BMW 745 that were recalled for computer errors. I mean comon, most of them will be running windows, so once you get that "Blue Screen Of Death" your **** out of luck. lol "Hold on officer, I need to reboot my car in order to get you a printout of my registration"

yah ur um officer you need what again? paper...hum lets see i keep that in ur um my um glove box. yah the glove box but unfortunately it is computer driven and i cant seem to get it to reboot so i can enable auto glove box open on restart.

recall? my pops just grabbed an 05' 745li with only 8k miles. 
now for him to buy me one... lol jk guys, ill never get sucked in the dark side.and yea thats true, its easy to have a reliable toyota... cuz i mean, what gizmos does it have? power windows ( an option :v ) and like a glove box period. but it is true... mercedes just isn't what it used to be when compared to reliability
