I need to know if anyone knows if a Trunk Door off a 95 E320 Convertible has the same shape and dimensions as the 95 E320 4 Door Sedan.

Also if they are the same would anyone know where i can get a used one from, doesn't need to be in the best shape cause it will be repainted anyways. As long as there aren't too many dents on it.

I'm not sure but you can check out my attachments.
The top is the Convertible and the bottom is the CE. I don't have any information on the 4 DR.

 

Thanks EKL, ya it seems smaller, maybe i should find one on the street and measure it with mine.

What i really want the trunk door for is for the 3rd brake light on it. I really dont want to cut mine and put one on, thought if the convertible one is the same size i could just replace it and be done. If not then i guess i will have to mod and get someone to cut my trunk and install the same one thats on the convertibles.

 

coupes have a flat trunk. 4 doors are rounded on both sides as it meets with the fenders. that is why they make 2 different amg ducktails. and that is why i dont have one because the coupes ones are hard as heck to find.

 

Damn, ok i guess it to the metal shop for my door, get a nice cut into it, now i need a damn template.
