Rattle Can Grill
I got tired of looking at a grey colored grill and decided to paint mines black. Shot 2 coats of flat black paint and one coat of a high temp, flat black paint. Here's the before and after.

To be honest there was nothing on TV so I took it apart, washed it, let it dry, and painted it.

I only used primer and auto spray paint for my grill and I have no peeling or rock chips at all.
Although, I'm tempted to buy another grill and do it all over again but a more "professional" job.

Abraham, post those pictures of that grill. I might take it so I don't have to buy one from the dealer!
I've been meaning to ask you, are you still checking out those junk yards? I could use a new speedometer.
Hell, I might do the facelift as well since I have the 94-95 euro headlights installed on my car.
The facelift is basically a 94-95 style hood. Unlike our hoods and grills which are seperate. The newer models its connected together.

It can be costly. It all depends on if you go with a OEM hood or a aftermarket. I've seen deals on the aftermarket hoods (made in italy) for about 200-500 primered. Then again, that's not including painting it and the mercedes star (flat badge if you like) and eventually sometimes you'll have to buy the grill itself. Also the heat carpet for the hood too. It can be costly. Me and someone else were going to do it but examined it and realized it would cost too much and I'd rather to other things with the money.

Yeah i know what i need and im working on my front bumper and rear bumpers. It's going to take a year to finish my car but it'll be worth it.
I just saw that it has a broken tab but it would still work.
HERE ARE THE PICS!

I can get the hood for cheap and everything else except for the front headlights. $2500? i can do it for around $700 - $800.
Hood $250
Wiper deltes $20
Will not use 94 tails will have black/red tails $125
Front headlights $300
Paint not till i finish my bumpers and side skirts.
I like the O.E look but painted black and this was brand new but i put it in storage and got all scratched up (just the metal strips). You have to see it to really know what's up.

Another stupid question: So I can get the Euro healight look from either A) buying it from Ebay or B) getting a 94 or 95 headlight assembly? My next question is does the 94-95 headlight assembly utilize the H3/H4 bulb combination as well?
