uncomplete bodykit?

I'm not a baller like some of you here, but I still want some accesorizing. Would it look to bad to replace my front bumper or a bumper cover in the front and not the rest of the body kit? I think I seen it done but pictures can trick the eye. I still plan to put a spoiler at the rear and drop it. Sooooo........ 300ce

After looking a few times I hate the ducktail look from the rear, nice from the side, but didn't win me over. How wide and thick it looks seems like it would be well suited with fender flairs

Hey!!! I have a ducktail!! LOL Anyways what i did was to cut my original bumper in half and added a valance. The trick is what valance to get and where to look for it. It's also made of urethane soo it dosen't break!! If you live in socal i can tell you how to make your own custom front bumper. Right now im the only one in the world with the front bumper i have. The best part is that i did it for under $80. Im going to get some wald side skirts and rear valance to complete the kit.

I'm from the LA, Long beach, Compton area myself. But for better quality of life my folks moved me here to denver colorado. I'd like to hear how you did your spoiler man. I love modifying vehicles to the point where I feel I could work for a custom shop.

im really interested to see how your benz is going to come along. are you going to paint it at the TJ place? and i think an incomplete body kit would be fine if its not too large or too unique. like YND's front bumper looks nice without making it look like the side skirts and rear bumper were dropped during the mailing process.

All I have is the AMG Gen 2 front bumper. My car is too low for sideskirts anyway and I just had the rear bumper repainted, de-chrome trimmed and impact strip filled and sanded body smooth, so a rear bumper would be a waste.

Talking

I have some body kits for other cars so im going to make them fit mine. I have a bmw m3 rear bumper but it's 2" short on the sides so im going to see if i can only cut half of it and extend the bottom sides 2" with fiberglass. It's ok for now and i decided not to do the 94 facelift because it's just a waste of money since i like the classic look. If i wanted a newer benz i would just buy one but i love the w124 chassis. Im not going to paint it in tj because i got some friends down here in lv who can do the same job and even let me work on my car at the shop.

I have another bumper waiting to be made to fit my benz and it's from a 2004 bently arnage and im going to do all stainless steel mesh inserts like the strut grills or jags.

I got it from a friend that works at a body shop and they where doing insurance work on a bently so they gave me this one. They said a new one cost $4000 and the laser cut grill cost $3500 but they didn't give me that one

If you are referring to the new chrome-free, texture free rear bumper, I have no pics of it yet....if you are referring to pics of my car in general with the front bumper only, go here http://homepage.mac.com/zorroamg1/PhotoAlbum2.html

Zorro,

lol. I just realized you never had the full GenII kit. Still looks good with only the front bumper. Keep us updated with some new pictures, you're hardly on anyways. haha

As for me, I'm still saving up for a GenII.

You can't put a ce ducktail on a sedan because it's shorter on the bottom and my car is going alright just getting ready for new bumpers and ducktail so by the time im finish is going to be christmas. The car now driver and runs fine so no problems there. I do want that rear wald add on part but can't find it!
