good seats???
anyone got a good contact for mbz seats for a 300ce in so cal? maybe a dismantler.
does anyone have any suggestions for replacement seats? recaros are a bit pricey.

How about some corbeaus rewrapped in matching leather? i know there are some dismantlers in fresno but I don't know any MB specific ones in that area. Give www.silverstarrecyling.com a try.

you can try potomac I know they arent local, but last time I checked a couple years back I spoke to pat and he had I think a whole interior for a pretty good price.

They hold real nice, I took my friend who works at the MB dealership in Parts for a rip yesterday and he couldn't believe how well the seat held him.
Plus they're alot lighter than the regular seats.

Eric have you thought about buying new seat covers for your exisiting seats?
Also I would call potomac and talk to pat and ask him if he can locate some. the 89 seats have a different pattern on the leather.

what years have the same seat pattern? also i really only need the seat rail since that is what broke in the accident.

Why don't you just re-upholster? IMO I wouldn't trade my power seats for those racing buckets. You can get MB-tex re-done pretty cheap, leather
will run you around $1,800 - 2.

if you cant find the rails, perhaps you can get some custom machined ata machine shop.
but I am thinking maybe rails from any w124 may work. not sure if they are different than the coupes.

The phone number I have for an MB dismantler in Sun Valley is 818-768-0704. I don't know if it's still good or if they are still in business. I had talked to them about rebuilt transmission, but I have not done business with them.

ramil needs to find out from matt which parts dismantler he is using. matt mentioned 3 or 4 in the area that could maybe help me out.
matt got a whole 500e int cheap. it looks like i may also need a rear pass int qtr panel.

I went to AMC yesturday and they have really nice seats but most of them are grey or tan no black ones? I need some black seats! Anyways i know of other dismantlers but u gotta come with me and search around. There are tons of mb dismantler here by long beach but all u gotta do is ask me and i'll take you.
