Where's my fuel filter?!

My car is starting to run a bit ragged...sputters at lower speeds (40 mph or below)...about a week ago I pretty much ran her til she was empty. I'd say about a half a tank left...she took almost 18 gallons ($49!!)!! Anyway,I think that sucked up alot of crap from the bottom of my tank and it's clogging up my filter...so where is it??

Also could be that retard plug,LOL!!! Maybe I should put that back in LOL!!

If it's like my car, the fuel filter is just in front of the differential. You need to remove a plastic cover to find it.

Hey guys,

Since we are on the subject, how ofter should one replace the fuel filter? I take it it's a matter of mileage only and not time.
Thanks

Thanks! BTW, would that be in the trunk or under the car?

Under the car. You may have to lift the car or even remove the rear wheel to make it a little easier but once you unbolt the plastic cover, its all there.
