Show me your Before and After pics
I love offroading in my explorer too, my winter time vehicle. Alot of guyz here just don't understand offroading, its just so cool!!!
i like/love forest road driving. i higher and more remote the better.
if i had a rear locker, i could really have some fun.
i've been to tellico and that is just insane. it's very cool, but to me over the top. rock crawling is ok, but i like to get somewhere.
when i was in colorado a few years ago, we took the durango/silverton narrow gauge train trip NORTH. the beauty can't be described.
from silverton we drove to animas forks, abandoned silver mine town.
that was some wheelin'.
i just wish i could have driven up cinnamon pass[about 14,000' elevation]. we were with older relatives.
if my explorer ever has 22" of front wheel travel, PLEASE RADIO THE PARK RANGER! I'VE GONE A HILL, SEND HELP

that's basically it, but I'm not done! More crazy changes on the way.
All that car needs now chris...
Center caps... monotoned paint, and exhaust...
Body kits are optional, but the car looks great.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
outside looks nice...how many times did your right front tire rub on the way home?
will standard center caps fit those wheels?
Like Alon said, the standard center caps won't fit the wheels. MB standard is 3" while mine is 2.5" inches. Sucks ***** I know.

Also, I talked to Sanders. He will be doing the monotoned paint job for me. Hopefully if I'm lucky I'll be able to get ahold of a AMG kit soon. If not, I'll either color match the impact strips or color match the panels and bumpers to the car.
Get those fender spacers!
I would of painted but I thought to myself, I might get tired of the silver one day and be stuck with it. So I basically went to a graphics shop and ordered a 2 x 5 feet of silver decal vinyl!
the cars needs to go up and inch or two to regain some travel on hard corners.
I have a piece of that setting in the car with a knife right now. Only problem I had was the tape still showed up any cracks in the clear coat over the zebrano. If you had cracks did you let them go or dremal them smooth?
I tried laminating carbon fibre on a test panel that I bought on ebay but found that unless I sanded ALL of the previous clear and wood off, everything would be too high. Also, I was not excited about digging around in the dash for the three pieces attached to the dash.

Good luck with the paint.

My only problem is that with the sportline, I have the two "rolltop" console boxes between front seats and back seats which are going to require something. My thoughs on them are either aluminum to replace the wood which would tend to make me go to silver for the console or take them out and paint them black, praying they don't stick together.
