Getting the E500 Ported and polished!
hey guys, its been in the shoppee for about 3 weeks now getting ported and polished. it shoud be nuts when it is done. here are some picks of the dismantled engine. i had to order another cam shaft from germany, it will be here by tuesday. im hoping to have the car back by next friday.

Well sir I live here in the rocky mountains. And I'm the type that like an SUV (use to drive a stationwagon in high school) over a pickup truck - working for penske truck leasing i can use a moving truck almost any time i want. Its an explorer sport 4x4 and manual tranny. I'm not gonna drive my rear wheel drive 300ce when it snows and I have a nack for some offroad driving. It has every bolt on power adder, well not a super charger yet. I also lifted it, tinted it, installed a limited slip differential, and oh god a kick azz sound system. Its been my baby the past few years, I just acquired the benz last month. And with the nature of being a mechanic I can't keep my hands off of it. I'm sure some of you enjoy the feeling of having a v6 that others assume is a v8. Its my project ride, things are not so expensive which gives me room for mistakes.
