103 Engine Power Tuning Guide
Mercedessource.com offers this book and a tool to adjust the fuel mixture. The book is $20 + the tool is more $. With everything the book offers, I only Care about the section "Tweaking Engine Mixture for Best Acceleration". Has anyone here done this adjustment? If so was it worth the money for the book and tool, given the performance gains?

in my driving i do a total of about 5% acceleration. the rest of it is cruising in top gear. thats factoring in all the starting and stopping at lights and all that, and merging to get on the freeway.
why would i want to optimise my car for something it does so little of as a whole?

lots of cars
i tweaked the mixture to get better mpg and faster acceleration. I hate it when i floor it and the car goes no where fast. Now it's perfect! rough idle but not so bad that i can't live with it.
