Head Gasket and Pressure Testing
After seeing a lot of oil in coolant reservoir I took my '93 300TE (M103 with 59,000 miles) to dealer. From reading all the posts I suspected a head gasket. They said the pressure testing did not indicate a head gasket and oil is getting into coolant after driving the car a while. They did not rule it out but said it might be cracks in engine head. I took the car back since they are asking for a fortune to fix it.
How likely is it that it's a cracked engine head versus a head gasket? There are no other oil leaks (other than from front seals).
What are your experiences guys?
Thanks.

Oil in the water normally means headgasket. Is there also water in the oil ie. milky foam under the oil filler?
The other thing it could be is a faulty radiator mixing coolant with gear oil. Might be worth checking.
