are there any plug-in/up-market head units which include an in-dash cd player which will fit my car??.
I have the OEM Alpine tape unit, which controls the 6 pack cd changer in the trunk.
What are my options to replace the OEM player???

 

you can put just about any normal single din sized radio in the car.

But if you want to keep the changer, you would have to find an alpine unit that is compatible with the changer, which wont be easy.

Best to find a unit that has the features and look you want, ditch the changer and enjoy a nice newer unit.

 

MP3 players are very cheap these days and will hold more than a 6 CD changer.
