be prepared to pay over $1,000 and you will still need to get lights and paint it.

ya your probably right and i cant spend that on a fricken bumper...so i want a better looking bumper really bad but from the looks of your picks, your old one looks pretty hammered...cracks,rock chips everywhere....
what would you say it would cost to sand it down, fix the cracks, and paint it black to match my car???? Just for kicks give me an approximate bottom dollar price you think i would have to pay to fully fix it. plus i think you mentioned that your taking some parts with you?what exactly are you taking and how much will it cost for me to replace so it bolts on properly?

i think chris said it was like $150 to paint match a bumper. you will have to do this on any bumper you buy new or used. i believe the foglights are 40-75 a set depending on what you choose. no bumper comes with fog lights they are always sold separately. the pieces i removed come on your currnet 124 bumper. a tow hitch cover may need to be purchased. i have to see your old one to be able to tell you. i think that is like 10 bux.

i know nothng about repairing abs. they are cosmetic repairs. if you are handy you can do it yourself. if you are not i think chris mentioned it was about 150 to do the repairs. dont quote me because i have no idea on this one. pm chris. he has seen the bumper cover 1st hand.

so it looks to be 800 OTD. i dont know where you live but you will have to pay shipping if you are outside cali.

have you seent hat add on on ebay for the front bumper makes it look similar to the Gen II amg bumper and it simly adds on to your existing bumper.

Not expensive either.

this was the auction it ended, but it looks pretty nice..

I think it looks good. for someone wanting a sportier bumper, it looks good and who cares if its fiberglass it looks pretty well made from the pics and looks good on the car.

One could add fog lights, they would just have to ones found to fit or make them fit by modding the add on piece.

Either way, if I didn;t have an AMG kit already, I'd rock it on my stock bumper...

the 2 biggest probs with fiberglass are they have no structure and if they are flexed by say hitting a p-block they will more then likely crack.

its cool ! and modern look ...

you can do some modifications before paint job to fix the foglights by attaching metal clips ..

i think a large fogs will do the trick to fill the oval shape

i'll try to get it fo my baby

Fiberglass can be a problem, this looks to be quite thick, and I think itlooks good and is a cheap alternative to buying a whole bumper if you just want a sportier look.

Hell you can get the erebuni fiberglass bumpers for not that much, but and I will stress this, they require extensive modification to be installed and require a lot of work to make them fit right.

I know from first hand experience.

This unit this guy is selling I think looks good and yes fiberglass can crack and all if you hit it on a parking block. lesson to be learned with that is, don;t pull in that far forward.

I myself have ripped my bumper off 3 times from parking blocks and once came off a driveway att he wrong angle and pulled in at the wrong angle and broke mounts on my bumper. so I know a bit about how delicate fiberglass is, and it is delicate, but not as delicate as one would think. so now I simply pull forward in a bit, then I get out and check how much further I can pull forward.

Ferrari 360 modena has fiberglass bumpers BTW... I know because I have drilled holes in a few for parking sensor installation. so with that said if someone wants to try to get this fiberglass add on because they thinkl it looks good, that is all that matters.

I have no interest in the bumper piece, I can say if this was around years ago, I would have never bought my kit and I would have rocked this.
