Ok, as some of you know I found both of my ABS sensors disconnected and yes it does do that funky @SS locking grinding thing. My question is other than the sensors themselves, where else would you look to troubleshoot this issue. This is pissing me off. I bet my Aunt paid loot to get that ***** fix and their no good ******* mechanic just ghetto rigged the fix. Please, someone help me out.

First I would suggest to replace all the ABS sensors. 2 in the front and 1 in the rear. Clean the counting wheels in the front thoroughly, many times they are full of brake dust and metal chips (brake disc wear) which may cause the sensors of misreadings. If this is not helping the next thing is the ABS controller.

i concur with bamburger.

you'd be suprised how often a good cleaning will "fix" something.

place car on jackstands
remove wheels
disconnect ABS sensors from each wheel (its a toothed ring) in the rear it might be on the differential input shaft
get an old toothbrush and clean.
reattach everything and test.

if that doesnt work, you check the wiring for continuity before deciding to replace the sensors

SHUT UP CHRIS! You know why I needed to buy the uh..hum. But back to topic. After thinking about what bamburger said, I think I'm going to give a cleaning a try considering the sensors themselves run about $150 a piece. I also think a good cleaning would do some good anyways because of the organic pads that the W124 uses. Thanks bamburger. Chris, you're no help.
